Orangevale Academy was founded by Sabita Kondle, a licensed therapist and educator with over 20 years of experience working with youth in after-school programs across California. During that time, she observed something that troubled her deeply: high-achieving students excelling academically yet crumbling under pressure, with little systemic support for their emotional and personal development.
That gap became the foundation of Orangevale Academy. A place built not just to educate, but to nurture, where students are seen as whole people, not just test scores.

How we do it differently:
Most preparatory schools focus on academic output. We focus on the whole student. Our hybrid model combines a rigorous online academic curriculum with an in-person boarding experience centered on life skills, character development, and personal growth, all delivered by globally recruited faculty who bring world-class expertise and diverse perspectives to every classroom.
Our curriculum meets California standards while integrating both AP and IB coursework, ensuring every graduate is prepared for higher education anywhere in the world. For students who need an extra year before college, our post-graduate program offers internships, college credits, and real-world experience.
